What Causes Pain Behind The Head?

I ve been having bad headaches in back of head , been keeping them I m scheduled for brain mri but for different reason would that show on back of head if anything is wrong? had a wreck & totaled car hitting deer but wasn t hurt but that s when headaches started in Dec.

Hello,

The causes of headache include traumatic brain injury (contusion or concussion), eyesight problem, blood pressure shoot up, and some others.

I think, you should do CT scan because as mentioned, you had injury and that should be done first.
