Hello,

It may be due to blunt trauma.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

For further assessment you may require x ray knee after orthopedic surgeon consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Use knee cap.

Use support while walking.

In case of swelling, you may require MRI knee after consultation.

Avoid squatting position
