for 2 days naw i have pain behind my lower lips and it seems like my gum is slowly being eaten away from my teeth though my teeth are not loose or anything. The problem seems to be coming from the gums. what could be wrong? please help cause am in alot of pain.
Your symptoms are pointing towards gum recession due to deep gum infection and the condition is known as Periodontitis.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated.. A deep scaling and currettage should be done followed by a script of antibiotics like Metronidazole and anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen. Do antiseptic gum paint massage over gums and do antiseptic mouthwash gargles. Doing warm saline solution can also help in relief.. Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily to improve gum health.. If there is too much of root exposure due to gum recession then Gum grafts an be advised..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
