Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having pain behind my right ear. It is the nerve that you don t want to have the bow of your glasses rest on. The pain starts with out any pressure or stimulation. It is a sharp stabbing pain that responds to pressure on it. It has come and gone for 3 or 4 days now.
Your symptoms seem to be related to an ear infection. I recommend you to use an anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 three times a day. I recommend using antibiotic dear drops for local treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
General & Family Physician
