What Causes Pain Below The Lower Left Ribcage?
What is a flipped rib? My grandson went into Urgent Care today because of a pain in his lower left ribcage and was diagnosed with a flipped rib. He was given pain medication and told if he was still in pain, to see his primary care physician in a week. He s suffered with this for close to two weeks.

I think it is slipped rib syndrome where your bottom rib move and catch.it causes severe pain left bottom, another possibility is costochondritis where pain lasts from weeks to months .if you have costochondritis you have to take pain killers , bed rest.
if the pain is not subsiding and las for month better do a ct abdomen because hydronephrosis of the kidney can also present like this.
