What Causes Pain Below The Navel And Inter Menstrual Bleeding?
I have bleeding between periods and pain on my right side below my belly button towards my thigh. I had an ultrasound done and it said the myometruim is somewhat inhomogeneous. There is a 1.1cm submucousal fibroid related to the posterior wall of the mid body of the uterus. Nabothian cysts are seen in the cervix. The right ovary measures 2.9 x 2.6 x 1.4cm. It contains a 1.5cm hemorrhagic cyst. What does the somewhat inhomogeneous mean?

Inhomogeneous means that not all of the areas seen appear the same or equal.
There may be a slight difference in structure or appearance.
This is likely due to the fibroid which occurs in the myometrium (muscle part of the uterus).
