Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 50 year old female, I have had a hysterectomy and oopherectomy when I was 40 and had an appendectomy 10 years ago too. I am experiencing a low throbbing pain near where my appendix was located or maybe a little lower 3 inches below belly button but on the right side. What could this be?
Pain below the navel region what you are experiencing could be due to inflammation in the pelvic region. Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and pelvis done to know what could be the cause. Kindly consult gynecologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashakiran S
