What Causes Pain Below The Navel?
My 6 year old boy is suffering from pain just above and below the belly button.... although he doesn t cry of the pain.... I consulted his pediatrician and he got an ultrasound done ...The report says his liver is mildly enlarged spleen is also mildly enlarged and intestine colic.... what can be the reasons...doc has prescribed cefixime and ofloxacin with ranitidine, metronidazole and neopeptine.

He has given a treatment for bacterial infection and parasitic infection and Ranitidine to ease the stomach pain from using all this medication. Neopeptine gives pain relief for colic and gas pain in children.
