What Causes Pain Below The Shoulder On The Back After An Accident?

Hi, am justin, 22 from quebec. i had a biking accident and stopped a falling impact with my left arm and hurt my tricep. its been 2 weeks now and i was wondering if its normal tht i getpains no longer in arm but on back lower shoulder and like under my armpit left of my peck. I dont know if this pain is coming from too much caffeine and not enough sleep or just domino effect from arm injury. its all on left side of body. thanks

Hi,

It is very likely the shoulder pain is due to a muscular strain of the muscles in the area during the fall. If you are able to do all movements in that arm the same as the other arm (you have no limitation of movements) you can try to help with it taking Ibuprofen and paracetamol.

If you have the limitation of the arm movements or you are not better with the above treatment you will need to see a doctor.
