What Causes Pain Below The Waist On The Right Side?

I am just coming off an antibiotic for a UTI. I have some pain below my waist on the right side and it has not subsided for approx 2 weeks. I have a normal temp. but am concerned about this pain and whereas I think it is a muscle strain it seem curious to me that it has gone on for so long. Thank you.

Hi,

You had not provided an age. If the pain is since a long time you should go for an x-ray, CT scan of the lumbar region and orthopedic examination for better management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pragnesh Limbachiya,
