Hello,
Your symptoms are indicative of
osteoarthritis,
degenerative joint disease or arthritis, etc. The said underlying medical conditions will cause pain radiating from the shoulders, to elbow and arthritis. It causes symptoms like swelling, reduced mobility, and reduced shoulder function or movement.
You can take NSAIDs, one stat when needed to get rid of the pain, inflammation and swelling. You can spray Volini on the affected area to help relieve pain. The treating doctor may recommend
steroid shots to relieve pain and discomfort. However, get X-ray and CT / MRI done, get examined by an orthopedist to rule out dislocation,
fracture, or any underlying medical condition causing symptoms.
You will be accordingly treated. Get clinically examined by a cardiologist, to rule out any developing coronary artery disease, get evaluated and get done all required cardiac function tests, along with stress tests,
echocardiography, EKG, etc., done. Your treatment will depend on the pathology diagnosed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
