What Causes Pain Between Eyes And Left Sided Facial Numbness?

Should I be concerned about a headache between my eyes and at each side of my temple and occasional tingling/numbness in the left side of my face? I am a fairly healthy 52 year old female with hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia . Advil and sinus medication does not touch it and I have never had migraine, and rarely get headaches. If I do have a headache it is usually sinus related. This has been going on about a week now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to sinusitis. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Acetaminophen three times a day.

I also recommend using prescribed antibiotics such as Augmentin twice a day. I also recommend using saline nasal spray.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
