What Causes Pain During Bowel Movement And Burning Sensation In Buttocks?

I have a 11 year old son that is crying in pain. He is having trouble having a bowel movement. He had a little bit of diarrhea this morning. He says his butt is very painful and feels like it burns. I m thinking he is constipated?? I just gave him some dulcolax. Not sure if I should have done that. Any suggestions on how to relieve his pain?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain during bowel movement and burning sensation in buttocks . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like spicy foods , anal itching , poor hygiene , hemorrhoids , anal fissure , fecal Incontinence , nflammatory bowel disease , constipation and psoriasis . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy , stool test and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , antibiotics , anti inflammatory along with antacids . Doctor may also refer you to dermatologist or general surgeon for skin problem or for removal of hemorrhoids respectively .
