What Causes Pain During Bowel Movement In A Toddler?

My three year old never had issues going to bathroom. She recently started crying when trying to poo. And when she does poo as I thought it was constipation and gave prune juice she does but now she continued use to touch her lower back saying ohh....and crys. I m not sure if it s just still not finished poo or something else is to be concerned.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having absolute constipation and forming hard fecolith coming on way while passing stool giving this problem.
Another possibility of having some soreness and irritation on opening anal canal due to solid stool or more frequency.
Give her mild laxative daily.
Consult your doctor and get clinically examined.
Ok and take care.
