What Causes Pain During Bowel Movement?

Hi I am experiencing discomfort that turns to pain if I push or use to much force when peeing or pooping. No blood in stool, stool appears normal, frequency of stool is normal as well (3x daily). Any idea what the pain could be from? Pulled muscles?? I m at a loss.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HCM.
Pain during defecation could be an indication that there is hradening of stool or it is a problem seen in persons who are sitting for a prolonged duration which leads to hard stools.
In both cases it can further lead to piles and blood in stools.
Adv-
1.Drink about 3-4 litres of oral fluids.
2.HAVE PLENTY OF GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES
3.XYLOCAINE JELLY FOR LOCAL APPLICATION
OPINION OF A GENERAL SURGEON IS ADVISED.
