Hi Dr.I ve recently had a & still have a UTI & had a Cystoscopy & was Catheterised also for 7 days .(now removed)..I m waking up Hourly 24/7 to urinate but very small amounts & now have a very sanative right Buttock around my waste & just below...My local Dr sent off a Urine Specimen & it read ... Culture org 1 : 100,000 per ml Klebsiella sp .....white blood cells 230 x10 *6 /L (R 0-10 .Red 1000 x10 *6 /L (R0-10) ..Epithelial cells 10 ..x10 *6/L. also Rose Colored Urine very painful to urinate very small amounts still this has been ongoing since my Cystoscopy on 05/Aug/2016 please advise....Thank You
Please get done your routine urine test and urine culture to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Doing Ultrasound Scanning of the abdomen will rule out any stone in the bladder.
Please take broad-spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptics like Nitrofurantoin and urine alkalizer. Later on, switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report. Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute. This will help to control pain.
