What Causes Pain From Lower Back To Groin?

Hi my father was telling me that he was experiencing lower right back pain along with some dry heaving and that the pain went down his right groin then he was taking a nap for like two hours and he woke up and felt completely fine just want to know if there something going on with him because it concern me. thank you

Hello, I understand your concern.
Pain radiating from the loin to the groin is suggestive of a renal colic. It can be due to a stone, clot or an infection. If it is persistent or recurring, I think he should have a urine examination and an ultra sound examination to know the cause.
