What Causes Pain From The Groin Area To The Thighs?

upper legs hurt from the groin area all the way down to the thighs. kind of like a burning sensation especially when my pants rub my legs. also some aches from the back area and down across the buttocks. no accidents or breaks in bones. feels like it is hurting on the inside and skin surface, but no rash or redness. Tylenol helps reduce the pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain in the groin area commonly occurs due to Inguinal hernia, testicular torsion, epididymitis, hip osteoarthritis, kidney stone, muscle strain, nerve problem, sciatica, etc.

You are suggested to get physically examined by a GP, get all the blood workouts & required Imaging tests done. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
