Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been put on 500mg of naproxen 2X/day for leg muscle pain. I think I pulled something. I am 69. I don t get any relief when I take one. The pain goes from my hip down on the outside of my leg to the ankle. It is a dull pain that is worse when I walk on it. Is this a good pain pill? Hip was x-rayed and is in good shape.
Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
Yes it is very good pain pill if this isn't helping then contact your doctor to top up you pain killer he might consider adding muscle relaxant that will relax muscles and pulled muscles will start to pain lesser.
I would also suggest you to discuss your problem with a physiotherapists usually such pains can be treated wonderfully well by physiotherapy.
