What Causes Pain From The Hips To The Upper Thighs?

My patient age 84, 5 , 100 # has scoliosis and significant lumbosacral pain radiating to hips and upper thighs. She also has skin sensitivity of varying degrees. She has used ANSAIDS with minimal benefit and uses oxycodone 15 mg and hydrocodone 15 mg occasionally. I have considered Kenalog - 40. What dose should she be given?

can take MRI and consult neurosurgeon for examination and advise on diagnosis. may require surgery in lumbosacral spine.should take analgesic on doctors advise other wise oxycodone and hydrocodone can cause addiction.
