Hello Dear. Your pain looks like sciatica pain. You need to consult an orthopedic surgeon who will suggests tests like xray, ct scan, mri scan to see if there is any disc prolapse or anything pressing on your sciatic nerve. The doctor may also order for Bone mineral density scan to see for symptoms of osteoporosis.

If it can be managed with conservative treatment, the doctor may prescribe you pain killers, calcium, bisphosphonate, vitamin d tablets, Lumbar spine corset, adequate rest, some specific exercises etc. You should be fine by then.

But if surgery is really needed the doctor may suggest you that option. Do not worry about surgery. I have seen many patients having excellent results and back to normal lifestyle with surgical treatment.

Anyways going to an orthopedic surgeon and getting evaluated should be your first step now.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
