General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry for the pain your 76 years old mother is experiencing.

That might be a tension headache, however, should get an immediate check-up by an eye specialist.

Plus should monitor her blood pressure, and record the results for reference.

Another possible explanation is spondyloarthrosis, that should be confirmed by X-ray of the spinal cord neck area.

Discuss this further with her caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
