What Causes Pain From The Shoulder To The Buttocks After An Injury?
I had a piece of machinery about the size of a solid cinder block hit me in lower left back missing my backbone by half an inch . Machine was traveling 12-16 mph when I was struck bending over. 3 days ago I m starting to have shooting pains down my leg an hurting from shoulder down to butt only occasonaly does it go down leg, painful to turn an look behind me
hello there welcome to healthcare magic.. well you were hit by a machinery over left lower back that too at around 12-16 mph thats enough to cause a spinal injury, shooting pains down the leg confirms that you have a spinal injury and that a nerve root is being compressed which is causing shooting pain to your lower limb and buttock.. and an injury to spinal region high above may cause radiating pain to shoulder and buttock.. i would suggest you consult an orthopaedician nearby as soon as possible and you may need and mri of lumbosacral spine along with screening of whole spine.. as of now u can have an over the counter analgesic like tab dolowin mr 2 times a day along with tablet rantac 150 mg twice a day. let me know the report in mri.. i wil be waiting for ur response..
