Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So for this pass week,I either never finish any of my food or if I finish my stomach starts to hurt. Today I ate a leftover slider from my dinner last night. The slider was about the size of a ice cream sandwich and I ate about a 4th of that and I felt sick. What might be wrong?
As per your description the symptoms may be due to gastroenteritis (stomach) or and exacerbation of gastritis. As of now you can take over the counter available drugs like pantoprazole or antacid syrups for symptomatic relief. Avoid spicy foods for couple of days. If symptoms persist or in case of any worsening like fever or blood in stool you have to consult a general physician at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
