General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Back on steroids would be kind of suppression or numbness of the inflammation, but not the reversal of condition. In my clinic, I do recommend:
- Assisted physiotherapy
- Allowable swimming, aerobics, running exercises
- Meditations and YOGA proven as efficacious as programmed back exercises for back ache
- Control of body weight, sugar and cholesterol
- Avoid smoking, alcohol if consumng
- Avoid stress, anxiety

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
