What Causes Pain In Back Of Mouth Near Tonsils While Swallowing And What Is The Treatment?
In the last twenty four hours I've noticed a pain in the left side of my mouth--not my throat, but in the back of my mouth nearer my tonsils--when I swallow. I had a very bad cold about two weeks ago, and was fine for the last week or so until this popped up. Is it something I need to go see the doctor about?

hello. please dont worry as it may just be a small infection. if you develop fever, rashes or pain increases, meet your ENT doctor. for the time being , just gargle with warm salt water 3-4 times a day. thanks
