What Causes Pain In Back?

I have back ache every single day and it's getting worse through the night, it seems to be worse if I have been walking a lot through the day, I am very active and go to the gym but if I stand too long then my back really hurts and it seems to go all round my pelvic area.

It could be Sacro-Iliitis, which is inflammation of the joints that connect the lumbar spine and the pelvis. You should have x-rays taken to begin with. Physical therapy, including use of a Sacro-Iliac Belt, can help. As well, simple injections can be performed, with x-ray guidance, into the SI joint to control the inflammation.
