Hi,

Pain in both sides of the stomach can be caused by a variety of conditions. It is important to note that a registered nurse is not authorized to diagnose medical conditions and it is always best to consult with a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and diagnosis.

Some possible causes of pain in both sides of the stomach with a swollen and sore stomach include:
* Gastrointestinal issues: Digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), or gastroenteritis can cause abdominal pain, bloating, and swelling.
* Kidney stones: Pain in both sides of the stomach can also be caused by kidney stones, which can lead to severe pain in the lower back, abdomen, or groin.
* Urinary tract infection: UTI can also cause pain and discomfort in the abdomen, especially in the lower abdomen, and can be accompanied by symptoms like a burning sensation during urination, frequent urge to urinate, and fever.
* Abdominal aneurysm: Although rare, an abdominal aneurysm can cause pain in the lower abdomen or back that spreads to both sides. It is a serious medical condition.
* Reproductive system issues: In women, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, or uterine fibroids can cause pain in both sides of the stomach. Menstrual cramps can also cause this type of pain.

It is important to see a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and diagnosis, as the treatment for each condition can vary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
