I have a fibrotic cyst in my left breast which has been there several years. This past year the mammo doctor requested I come back in 6 months, which will be 1st of May, for a recheck. It has been hurting consistently for the past few weeks. He assured me it was just a cyst but my mother died of breast cancer at age 63. I am 44 and a little freaked out. Can not feel cyst but can see it on ultrasound. Should I be worried?
