What Causes Pain In Calf While On Xarelto Post Hysterectomy?
On xarelto for multiple right lung PEs After having hysterectomy. Having pain in left calf off and on. Gets worse when walking. Went to PC yesterday had d-diner done which was negative. I am 33 years old. Could it still be a clot with me on blood thinners?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in calf while on Xarelto post hysterectomy. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but it your case the symptoms are probably due to sinusitis which occur due to viral infection . Viral infection usually cause body ache along with joint pain . It can also occur due to post surgery complication of side effects of certain medicine ,so consult doctor and discuss the condition . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist to prevent it from getting complicated . Doctor may prescribe amoxicillin at least for 5 days along with decongestant and expectorant after CT scan . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for calf problem . For now take proper rest , take steam thrice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
