I was at the ER last night (directed to go to ER by a Med Clinic doctor who did an EKG and told me I needed to go to ER for further testing). My symptoms were some chest pain during the night, sweating, but most of all headaches and constant numbness in neck and left side of face and head. EKG at hospital came back okay and so did blood work. They did a CT Scan and found a small maximal width 1.5 cm Arachnoid Cyst in left temporal region. No evidence of Subarachnoid hemorrhage. Doctor came in room and asked if I ever had a stroke and I answered no. She said, not to worry about it but we found this cyst as mentioned above. She doesn t think it has anything to to with my numbness in neck, left side of face and head, headaches, nausea. I was discharged to follow up with a cardiologist, which I am working with my insurance on at this time. However, I can t help but wondering if in fact that the cyst does have something to do with my numbness in face, head and headaches, nausea? I mean it s not going away, it has to be something and I m miserable. Any advice?
