What Causes Pain In Chest Along With Shoulder Pain After Physical Exertion?
Hi I m Kendra I m 31. I live on a farm an today I was working putting up fence n gates an I used all my force n push really hard . instant pain. My upper right side chest right above breast hurt leading under my arm pit to upper shoulder bad dull pain an when I lean forward oh it hurts takes my breath. I think pulled muscle. But I need advice or I m goin Dr. In morning . I can t get comfortable . please let me know . there s no pain when breathing regular. Thanks

Your history suggests some sprain pr muscle pull while doing forceful physical work. Hot / cold sponging / application of muscle relaxant cream like Relaxyl (no massage please) ointment and oral pain medicine over the counter can be tried to start with. If no relief, consult your family physician for further needful investigations or injectable as per need.

Yes it seems like a muscle is pulled due to manual labor. Do a check up with your physician. Rest, stay hydrated and take oral painkillers.
