What Causes Pain In Chest While Breathing?

Every once in awhile my heart hurts, it hurts to take a breath in and yesterday that s what happened but this time something different happened, most of the time by the next day it s gone but this time...hard to explain but it s like yesterday my heart was hurting on the inside when I took a breath but this morning it hurt on the outside breathing didn t matter....and not only was it just my heart painfully hurting but I have a place on my neck that hurts bad at times and it made that spot hurt and my head hurt and like straight threw my chest to the back hurt....it felt like it was all connected do when one surged they all did. It hurts on the outer edge of my left breast maybe an inch away from the bone in the middle of my chest. Like I said it happens every once in awhile and my memory isn t good so can t really say how far apart it happens but that s the first what it did this morning, I laid back down after I got my daughter on the bus and slept till 10 and I was ok when I got up but still felt like it wasn t gone then btw 2:30 - 3pm I started hurting again when I breath in, it goes mild on me off an on and hurts a good bit off an on....it s 12am now and still hurting when I breath in....I hope this is explained good enough...I honestly don t know why I m bother you but I was hoping maybe you could help shed some light on what might be the problem and wither or not I should consider making that trip to a Dr...I guess you could say it takes alot to worry me when it comes to me, I usually just try an ride things out....Ok thank you for any advice you can give and thank you for taking the time to read this. Thanks, Esther
