What Causes Pain In Chest With Breathing Difficulty?

I ve been having this pain in my chest recently in the lower lateral area, both sides, sometimes feels like far upper abdomen. It comes and goes, but feels like a tightness or pressure. I can t quite tell if it is made worse by breathing, but I do feel like breathing becomes a bit more difficult when the pain starts. It s been going on a few weeks, but hasn t gotten worse , though some times it is worse than others. I ve recently started a healthier diet, but I don t believe that is related. I am 28 with slightly high BP and a history of back issues if that helps.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in chest with breathing difficulty. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acid reflux , disc problem , cervical spondylosis or chest infection . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan, MRI along with physical examination and taking history . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and recommend physical therapy of back . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist in case of angina or chest specialist in case of chest infection .
