What Causes Pain In Colon Radiating To The Back While Under Stress?

Hi, I have colon pain left side, not strong pain, just discomfort. It is like a sting on top left, but I have sometimes at the bottom left near pelvis and irradiates at the back. I have always suffered colon pains (my mum has got too) especially when I am under stress or have a heavy meal. Shall I go to the doctor? Could you please advise? Thanks, Alessandra

Hello Alessandra
Colon pain is not usual and if not subsiding it self and repeatedly coming then you should take serious and go for consultation. You may be required some test.
It is better to diagnose the disease as early as possible.
Without diagnostic test some time it is difficult to diagnose the disease.
Pain may be psychological or due to organic dysfunction

Hope this is clear to you

Thanks
