I am 7 weeks pregnant and have had a serious cough for 3 weeks it seemed to be getting better then got worse again. docs gave me amoxicillin and albuterol neb. It is my first time with albuterol. they had xrays to check the lung for pneumonia and came back negative. about the time I started takeing the neb my outer ear canal started hurting... I dismissed it as a zit n ear. now both are hurting and it is going down into my jaw and aching there.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptoms you describe sound like an ear infection. Most respiratory infections may be accompanied by ear infections.I will suggest you see your Doctor or an ENT specialist to examine your ear for an infection.Depending on the otoscopic findings, treatment options will be discussed. You may however add a pain drug like ibuprofen to the drugs you are taking.
Hope this will help
Best regards
