Looking at your symptoms,there might be a possibility that the Antibiotics which you took may not be effective against the infecting bacteria or the infecting bacteria might have developed resistance against the antibiotic or you might be suffering from nasal infection leading to eustachian tube blockage which leads to negative pressure in the ears followed by fluid collection and infection(Eustachian tube connects middle ear with the nose and is responsible for equalization of middle ear pressure with the outer atmospheric pressure) If you are having ear discharge,I would advise you to send ear pus discharge for bacterial culture and antibiotic sensitivity to know that which bacteria is causing the infection and to which antibiotic it is sensitive.You can start Antibiotic according to the report. Also take Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen and Antihistaminic(like Cetrizine) and Decongestant(like Phenyephrine).
