What Causes Pain In Ear When I Pull My Outer Ear?

hi doctor, i felt pain around my ear area for almost 2 weeks already. When I pull my outer ear, i feel the pain. Sometimes it appears and sometimes dissappear. I dont have fever. could i be suffering from MASTOIDITIS, or from an ENLARGED LYMPH NODE?

Regarding your query for pain on ear on pulling the pinna, I would like to say that whenever pain is felt on pulling the pinna or pressing the tragus it indicated that you are suffering from otitis externa. while in cases of mastoiditis pain is felt on pressing the area behind the pinna called as mastoid area.

Now you may put ear drop having Antibiotic + Steroid + Analgesic to your ear for getting some relief and it will be better to consult your ENT doctor for ear cleaning and examination to rule out the patology going on.
