What Causes Pain In Elbows, Forearms, Shoulders And Groin Area?
For the last 6 months or more, I have severe pain in my elbows and forearms, shoulders and my left groin area. Some days are unbearable and I can not stand it and can barely move, other days are more bearable. My orthopedic surgeon just did surgery on my left shoulder due to calcium issues, but I think that is just the beginning. Any ideas.
Multiple joint pain are in concern with systemic disorder of some sort as hypocalcemia, parathyroid level alteration or else. It is best recommended for the evaluation with basic lab tests for the same in terms of free calcium, parathyroid hormone level, serum phosphate, alkaline phosphatase level evaluation in details for the final diagnosis and further cure accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
