What Causes Pain In Feet After Healing From Jones Fracture?
I am 4 and a marathon runner. I have suffered from a jones fracture since November. I was healing great then was released to run a little. My foot would hurt after I would run. I took it slow on my runs. I have seen three doctors. One has done two ctscan and now want a MRI. Second said sujury from the beginning. Third said wait 6 more weeks and just see. I am very frustrated. My doctor did not even xray my foot when I told him I felt the same pain again. That is when a saw the other and he said wait 6. Any advice?
For 5 th metatarsal fracture after 6 weeks healing should be complete and you can start physiotherapy.
MRI to see for any ligament injury. So you can do MRI there is no harm in doing it.
If you see any signs of infection like raised local temperature, pus collection, increase in pain then you should consult your doctor again.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
