Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in front of head on coughing which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to sinus infection as well. Need not to worry. For now do warm saline gargles. Take steam inhalation. Take proper rest , keep yourself hydrated. Maintain hygiene. You should start with antibiotic such as augmentin along with decongestants and anti inflammatory such as Levocetirizine. Take diet rich in multivitamins. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination as infection has already spread. You should get throat swab test , viral culture test , complete blood profile to find out extent of infection. Doctor may also refer you to orthopedician if he/ she finds your muscle pain to be severe.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
