Yesterday I picked something up that was heavy. I didn t feel a pop or anything like that.. but about an hour later I had pain in my groin area and down one side of my penis. Later when I looked ...There was a red area area my groin on one side only and there was swelling around the head of my penis. It is red swollen and very painful to touch

It seems that there might be having some infection on glans penis producing enlarged tender inguinal lymph nodes.
Picked up heavy weight might not have any concern.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine like Amoxicilin for 5 days.
Apply antibiotic cream on glans.
Ok and take care.
