Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic HCM. I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
Possibilities:-
Pain of this nature may be due to a partial blockage of the main named arteries of the thigh and legs. The blood supply is needed to get enhanced when we walk or run. But the partially blocked vessels don't allow this and cause an ischemic pain due to a debt in blood supply to the thighs and legs. If the patients rests for some while pain goes away or gets lessened in intensity. But walking gets it back in.
OR it may be of neurologic origin--due to
nerve pinch, herniation of the disc between vertebrae,
degenerative vertebral disease etc to list some.
I refer you to a vascular surgeon for a complete in-office evaluation of the leg vessels coming out of the main (
abdominal aorta) vessel. If needed he may do a Doppler to test whats inside. If needed he may also refer you to a
Neurologist for the checkup and treatment of the neurologic cause if any.
Hope I answered all of your questions. Please don't forget to add your precious positive feedback to help me able to assist you better in future too. Have a wonderful time ahead.
