What Causes Pain In Heel And Thigh?

I have been having pain in my left heel and went to podiatrist. My left thigh had started hurting, especially when I get up and I thought it might be because I am favoring that foot. He put me on anti inflammatory drugs, which help, but I need to find out what is causing it. I missed a pill the other night and the next day I was in a lot more pain. I m not sure what kind of doctor I need to see.

I really appreciate your concern, looking to your complain, in my opinion you need to see the orthopedic surgeon and there you would be in a need of some investigation and this could be x-ray of heel and CT imaging, hope this information helps, take care.
