What Causes Pain In Hip, Arm, Dizziness And Headaches?
Last night I had strong pain in my left hip and running down my leg. Also an extremely painful pain in my right lower arm. It would come and go. I had a horrible time sleeping. Today its mostly the on again off again arm pain but with dizzyness and headaches and some pinging in my head. Also some feelings of hotness. Any thoughts?
I think you are having acute episode of cervical spondylitis. In this there is nerve compression in the neck, and it causes pain with rediculopathy and dizziness. To confirm the diagnosis I would recommend you to get MRI of the neck. This will show if there is any compression is present in the neck and if yes then how bad. According to that we can plan further management. In early stage it can be treated with intermittent cervical traction and neck muscle strengthening exercises. You would also find pregabalin and Methylcobal useful for you. If pain is very bad then you ill find medrol tablet also helpful. Soft cervical collar will also be beneficial. Avoid using very big pillow. If even after that disease is not under control then you will need surgery.
