Hi I have pains in my hips and top of my legs mostly when relaxing somtimes feel my leg giving way when I stand in certain position getting worst the last 2 years I'm 55. 5ft,4. 80 kg. on my feet at work approx 13 hrs a day ( self employeed ) I do have high blood pressure on 5 mg ramapal don't drink or smoke slight back pain if I walk long distance or sit around
Hello Your weight is 80 kg but according to your height this is high ( more ) . Ideal weight for you is 60 kg . Reasons for pain in the legs and hip may be due to following reason.1 Over weight as mentioned above ,so your hip and legs ( ankle joints ) can't bear this over weight as these two joints along knee joints are weight bearing joints. 2 Due to long standing stasis of blood ( anti gravity ) porduces such type of pain and at this age of 55 years you require some rest . If possible take rest ( few minutes in between work hours). 3 Deficiency of calcium and Vitamin E causes such type of pain so get in blood examination . 4 Lipid profile will also helps as hyper cholestroleamia causes such type of pain.
