What Causes Pain In Incision Post Abdominal Hysterectomy?

I had an adominal hysterectomy two weeks ago. I have noticed that the left side of my incision hurts more than the right side. Today I felt of both sides and the left side has a hard knot in it about an inch or so long. What could this be? Is it normal?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Please note that the incision sites have both deep stitches and superficial stitches, the knots you are feeling are probably from the deeper stitches that you received, and the stitches are absorbable. So you do not need to worry this is normal. I hope this helps, good luck
