What Causes Pain In Jaw When I Eat Or Chew, Also Pain From Ear Drum After Hitting Jaw?

I got hit in the middle of my jaw between my ear and the bottom of my jaw. Everytime I eat or chew, I feel pain, the pain from my jaw is more tolerable, but I get intense pain from my ear drum on the right side where I was originally hit. Everytime I eat, it feels like my ear drums are going to pop.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the jaw can be due to an infection in the oral cavity or an inflammation of the T-M joint. The pain in the ear is likely to be a referred pain. A direct examination is needed for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
