What Causes Pain In Joints And Muscles Of Lower Body Along With Headaches?

I ve been having episodes of joint pain in my lower extremities and sore muscles as if I d done a strenuous workout. I m also having severe headaches that seem to stem from the base of my skull and a fever of 100.9. I had a baby 6 mo this ago by c section. I feel like I m coming down with a bad case of flu but it isn t that. Doctors tested my blood to see if I had markers for arthritis but it was negative. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Joint pains with associated muscle pain suggest some musculoskeletal disorder.
Arthritis is one of the possibility and it can be associated with negative markers.
But certain other conditions also need to be ruled out like vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D deficiency is also associated with pain in joints and muscles.
In case deficiency is detected, treatment with vitamin D supplements will be required.
If vitamin d levels are normal, then certain parameters like RA factor and anti CCP may be required to diagnose the condition.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your physician for further investigations.
