What Causes Pain In Knee Radiating Towards Groin?

Hi, I scraped the inside part of my ankle where the vein is. Since then, I have gradually gotten pain going up my leg. I have tried to go to work but my work boots have caused the area to be quite painful and also my up to my knee. I have a small amount of pain from my knee to my groin. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

You might have a leg infection with inflamed lymph node (s) in your groin or problems with your leg veins. You need to see your doctor to tell what is your problem.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Malkhaz Jalagonia, Internal Medicine Specialist
